New Dermaroller Module and Video Launched

Hot on the heels of its Dermaroller training course, CODE AFA has now released a new Dermaroller module, which is free for all members. The module includes an overview, how to administer it, pre and post skincare treatment, a consent form and aftercare instructions.
Dermaroller removes lines and wrinkles, offering clients the chance to look more youthful without having to take time out to recover from aggressive laser treatments or medium to deep chemical peels. Instead, the treatment uses tiny micro-medical needles on the skin to encourage regeneration and repair, and leave clients with a healthier, smoother, brighter and younger-looking skin. As there are no foreign substances used, it has a notable safety profile. Further, it’s ideal for summer use when other treatments are risky due to increased UV sensitivity.
Dermaroller is currently attracting significant media attention. Alice Hart-Davis reported for the Daily Mail that, after having the treatment, I began to get compliments about my skin from other beauty writers "who have eyes like lasers who don’t miss a thing."
Currently available in 160 clinics, the treatment can only be administered by trained practitioners - doctors, dentists and registered nurses - and offers a complementary addition to your facial aesthetic portfolio by giving an alternative for patients who don’t want the down-time of chemical peels.
In addition to helping clients look younger, Dermaroller can also help repair acne scars, treat stretch marks on thighs and stomachs, and can regenerate the face, neck, décolleté and the back of the hands.
CODE AFA members can receive discounts on hands-on courses in Dermaroller, to add this lucrative treatment to their practice’s offering. For more information click here.
The next Dermaroller course takes place in London on 16th October priced £595. Sign up before September 4th for an additional five percent ‘early bird’ discount click here.
