AFA Benchmarking

AFA will shortly be sending out questionnaires for this year’s benchmarking. This essential resource helps practitioners see the current market rate for treatments, and see how they compare to other people in the market. As such, it’s imperative that you return your form in order to ensure the data is as thorough as possible.
Last year’s results showed that the price of administering Botulinum toxin to a single area varied from £150-£191. This showed a marked increase at the entrance point for Botulinum toxin on 2008-2009 which saw prices vary from £97-£194. However, the maximum price had gone down, possibly due to increased competition.
Meanwhile, the cheapest prices for dermal fillers had dropped from £180 to £150 between 2008 and 2009, but increased from £360 to £375 at the highest level. The average had dropped by £1 from £283 to £282.
Other areas of research include volumisers and chemical peels, with Dermaroller added in 2009-2010. AFA benchmarking also covers lasers and IPL.
This valuable data helps you ensure that your prices are both competitive and profitable. Please email info@the-FACE.co.uk or call the office if you would like CODE AFA to investigate any particular therapy.
