CODE AFA represents practitioners in the new field of non-surgical skin rejuvenation. It is developing standards, provides management information and acts as a reference point for those who are running a facial aesthetics practice. With support from the Board of experienced professionals, CODE AFA holds seminars and hands-on training in skin rejuvenation techniques including botulinum toxin (commonly known as Botox®), dermal fi llers such as Hydra Fill® and Restylane®, chemical peels and cosmeceuticals.

It is the aim of CODE AFA to act as a resource for practitioners and patients on all aspects of facial aesthetics. The AFA website has a ‘find a practitioner’ section where patients can fi nd their local AFA clinic. Members can download the latest management modules which include a survey of treatment fees in the annual benchmarking, information and consent forms on botulinum toxin, dermal fi llers, retinoic acid and glycolic acid skin peels. The website is continually optimised for search engines so that members should gain increasing numbers of referrals.
