CODE AFA represents practitioners in the new field of non-surgical skin treatment. It is developing standards, provides management information and acts as a reference point for those who are running a medical spa. With support from the Board of experienced professionals, CODE AFA holds seminars and hands-on training in skin treatment techniques including botulinum toxin (commonly known as Wrinkle Treatment®), dermal fillers such as Juvederm® and Restylane®, chemical peels, IPL, Radiofrequency and cosmeceuticals.

If you are already practising non-surgical skin treatments or are looking to move into this field, now is the time to join CODE AFA and gain confidence from the association of like-minded colleagues.

It is the aim of CODE AFA to act as a resource for practitioners and patients on all aspects of medical aesthetics. The AFA website has a 'find a practitioner' section where patients can find their local AFA clinic. Members can download the latest management modules which include a survey of treatment fees in the annual benchmarking, information and consent forms on botulinum toxin, dermal fillers, retinoic acid and glycolic acid skin peels. The website is continually optimised for search engines so that members should gain increasing numbers of referrals. Members also receive discounts on courses, seminars and CODEplan marketing and management products.
