Bariatric
The branch of medicine related to obesity prevention and treatment.
Bell's Palsy
Another name for Facial Paralysis. The disease causes inflammation of any facial nerve that leads to muscular paralysis. It usually affects only one side of the face. It can be an aftereffect of brain tumor or stroke. Mostly, the patient takes several months to recover, but on occasions it can be lasting.
Blepharospasm
A physiological condition that causes involuntary blinking of the eye muscles.
Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD)
Earlier known as Dysmorphophobia or Body dysmorphia. It is a psychological condition where an individual becomes obsessed with defects in his appearance. These defects are mostly imagined or exaggerated.
Buccal Fat
The fat pad located just above the jaw line area. Excessive fat can be removed by an operation called Buccal Fat Extraction or Cheek Reduction.
