Procedure to Use Compositum Peels
Only a trained professional should apply Compositum peels, such as a doctor, dentist or registered nurse.
There is a standard procedure to use a compositum peel. First, a small portion of the peel is evenly applied to the skin surface. The peel is left until the skin starts showing a reaction to it. As the acid penetrates into the skin pores, tingling or burning sensation is felt. When the irritation increases, the peel is removed and a cooling mask is applied. Finally, a post-treatment cream is applied to avoid any side effect.
No major complications are detected in the compositum peel treatment. However, minor side effects can appear. These involve allergic reactions causing skins to appear flushed for few days. People with sensitive skin may have to suffer burning or minor irritation up to four days of the treatment.
The cost of the peel is in usually the region of £300.
