Mene & Moy ® Peels
Mene & Moy ® peels are superficial to medium depth peels used for the treatment of common skin disorders. These chemical peels provide visible results against photo ageing, acne, scars, hyper-pigmentation and sun damage.
Mene & Moy ® Peels: Product Range
The Mene & Moy ® Peels standard product range contains:
- Glycolic Acid Masque 25% - For the treatment of open pores, oily skin, photo ageing and juvenile acne.
- Glycolic Acid Gel: A superficial peel to stimulate collagen production and remove the corneous layer of facial skin. This gel is available in three different concentrations – 30%, 50% and 70%.
- Yellow Peel: It is a superficial peel especially for the treatment of acne, photo ageing and melasma.
There is a range of pre- and post- treatment products that are administered to boost the results of standard peels, such as:
- Pre-Peeling Cleanser 20%: This deep skin cleanser removes daily residuals off the skin. It also serves as a test for allergy to Mene & Moy ® peels.
- Keratolytic Pre-Peel Solution: It prepares the skin for high concentration glycolic acid peels. Particularly used before the treatment of stretch marks.
- Neutralizer: It is used to immediately stop the action of glycolic acid.
- Alpha & Beta Complex Gel: It contains resorcin and salicylic acid and is used along with superficial peels to nourish skin.
- TCA Chelated Lotion: This chemical combination contains tricholoroacetic acid (TCA) developed in a manner that the acid cannot penetrate into the skin. However, it should not be administered to people with darker skins.
Mene & Moy ® Peels: Prevention
An individual should follow pre and post- treatment preventions as prescribed by the practitioner expert for optimal results. Breast feeding mothers and pregnant women should avoid Mene & Moy ® peels. Also, people with recent sun damage or acne outbreak should not use these peels.
There are no reported side effects of Mene & Moy ® peels. However, one should consult an experienced practitioner for this treatment, such as a dentist, doctor or registered nurse to avoid any potential harm.
